Approach: 

My approach to this brief was to create something visually intriguing, so I utilised the “search” icon as a selection wheel to choose to search from “persona” (the fun side of the search). price and location. You are taken to a “persona” section where you can create your own look with a few quirky illustrations and un-intrusive “slider” questions which will be used in your “date-like” Flatmate match up.

The usual options to skip this and choose by price and a location will also be available. The “persona” compatibility match-up would be via a visual slider icon next to price and location.

The Flatmates App is designed to be fun and set itself apart from the mundane, un-engaging, accommodation Apps we see today.
